Fans of TLC’s Sister Wives have watched Meri Brown lie to everyone (including herself) for years. Furthermore, fans also watched her pretend to be happy in some bizarre threesome with Kody and Robyn. It wasn’t until Kody Brown announced on television to the world that he did not consider himself married to Meri anymore that she finally opened her eyes.

Now, Meri Brown is coming clean. She’s speaking her truth and she’s finally decided to start living for herself. Moreover, she doesn’t care what Kody or Robyn Brown think about it. She considers their feelings on the matter “irrelevant.”

Meri Brown Comes Clean, How Kody & Robyn Feel Is “Irrelevant”

In an exclusive preview of an upcoming episode of Sister Wives, Meri Brown tells Robyn and Kody she will NOT be renewing her lease. During a confessional, Meri tries to sort through her feelings. Ultimately, she believes that there has been an emptiness since her mother passed away. Furthermore, something has been pulling her to go to her B&B since her mother passed away.

Getting emotional, Robyn Brown struggles to make sense of what Meri is telling them. She asks if this move is just a temporary situation. Meri tells Robyn she really doesn’t know. Meri Brown proceeds to explain she has reached a point to where she is finally listening. She hears all of the things Kody has said about the relationship they have.

Meri recognizes that Robyn Brown’s feelings will be hurt by her decision. Furthermore, she suspects Kody Brown will “jump for joy” over her moving away. She, however, is done making decisions based on how other people feel. Meri Brown is moving to her B&B because she knows it is what she needs to do deep in her heart.

Kody Brown Wanted To Hide Their Split

In the E! News exclusive, Meri Brown reveals she had a conversation with Kody about their marriage. The two agreed their relationship really wasn’t moving forward. So, they made a mutual decision to split. It, however, was something they agreed on privately and hadn’t shared with anyone else. In fact, Kody told Meri he didn’t want to make the information public.

Meri Brown, however, did not agree with Kody. She didn’t think it was fair to hide their split from the world. Moreover, she didn’t think it was fair to hide it from Robyn.

But the thing is, every conversation that he and I have had about it has been private. It’s just been between me and him. And he actually has said that he did not want it to be public. And I don’t think that’s fair because I think it’s important that it’s public, and I think it’s important that Robyn hears it.”
