EastEnders viewers think a recent twist involving the café after the murder of Keanu Taylor could lead to a villain being framed for his death, and now one actor has hinted the body could be found
EastEnders actor Navin Chowdhry has responded to a theory following the demise of Keanu Taylor on the BBC soap, with him teasing whether the body will be uncovered.
Viewers recently saw Keanu’s body buried under the floor of the café by The Six, after he was killed by Linda Carter on Christmas Day. Linda stabbed Keanu in a bid to stop him strangling Sharon Watts only for him to die from his injuries.
The six women at the scene of the crime made a pact to cover up the death, with them burying him under the café floor. Of course Navin’s character Nish Panesar is tied to the story given moments before Keanu’s demise, he too was attacked by The Six after his plan to kill his wife Suki Panesar.
Nish knows something happened that night and doesn’t buy the story that Keanu attacked him and went on the run. Since then, Nish and Suki have separated with her also giving him full ownership of the family businesses, including the newly purchased café.

Of course Nish currently has no idea Keanu is dead, let alone buried under his new café. Viewers are convinced that when the body is eventually discovered Nish could be blamed for his death, and that The Six may even frame him for the crime.
The Mirror recently asked Nish actor Navin about this theory and whether the body will soon be found, questioning if the villain could end up going down for the crime. Navin hinted it could well be the case, not exactly denying it would happen.
Instead, the actor joked about the fallout of Keanu’s body being unearthed and pulled out of the newly refurbished café floors, with him quipping Nish would want to find out who was responsible. He joked: “Well, yeah! Who’s gonna pay for the building works when that happens? You know it’s costly laying floors, I’m not paying for that no way!”
So could this be a hint that Keanu’s body will be found soon, and his comments a diversion from whether Nish could be suspect number one? Who knows, but actor Navin did tease his character would soon be wanting to know the truth about Christmas Day.
He recently agreed to give up the questioning to Suki over his attack and the drama with Keanu, but actor Navin told us that soon he may be back to snooping around for answers. He said: “I think there’s two sides of the story because of what happened to Kenau and what happened to Nish.
“From what we know from Nish, he may have temporarily dropped pursuit and stopped looking into it, but for a man like him to be overpowered by six women in The Vic on Christmas Day, it’s too much for him to surely let go of. So I think it’s about timing and he will want to get to the bottom of what happened exactly.”
