EastEnders spoilers: George Knight horrified after aggressively losing his temper with his mum

George Knight (Colin Salmon) has had a really tough year in EastEnders so far, after learning that his adopted dad Eddie Knight (Christopher Fairbank) murdered his biological father.

This led George to try and find his biological mother, but he was left crushed to learn that she had died just four months ago.

Since his discovery, George has disowned his adopted parents, and even stood up in court to tell them what Eddie was really like.

In upcoming scenes, George’s daughters are keen to make a big fuss of him on the morning of his birthday, given everything that has happened lately.

However, the arrival of his adopted mum Gloria (Elizabeth Counsell) puts a dampener on the celebration.

Though George and Gloria used to be close, he has been unable to forgive her after her admission that she asked Eddie to do whatever it took to get rid of his biological father, which ultimately led to his murder.

Gloria receives a frosty reception from the family, but George eventually agrees to talk to her.

However, things take a turn when Gloria insists that George had a happy childhood, and he loses his temper.

Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) is quick to escort a shaken Gloria out, while George rushes away, horrified by his outburst.

Later, George finally returns home and opens up to his fiancé about his fears during a heart to heart, before breaking down in her arms.

Will he be able to get over this betrayal from his adopted parents?
