EastEnders’ Dean Wicks was quizzed by police as his fate looks sealed after being framed by The Six for the murder of Keanu Taylor – but fans are predicting a shock twist
EastEnders’ bad boy Dean Wicks found himself in hot water with the Old Bill tonight, and fans are already predicting a massive plot twist.
Dean got nicked for offing Keanu Taylor, but viewers know he’s been stitched up like a kipper by The Six, who pinned the murder on him after Linda Carter went all psycho with a meat thermometer.
In Monday’s trip to Albert Square, the coppers grilled Dean about whether he did Keanu in, but he insisted he’d been framed by either Stacey, Jean or Harvey, who’d all been lurking around the flat lately.
Now, soap addicts are sure they’ve sussed out how Dean’s drama is going to unfold with these fresh allegations – they reckon he’ll end up behind bars, but for his other dodgy dealings, not for Keanu’s demise.
“The elements for Dean being framed have come together really, really well. I think he’ll ultimately be found not guilty of the murder but the other charges will put him away for a long time,” one viewer spilled the beans.
Another chimed in: “The neglect, theft and kidnapping..yep. wonder what the actor has lined up next.”
while another was chuffed to bits, saying: “I’m so glad they are going to be able to frame Dean for Keanu…. I never thought I would be in agreement with this plot, but watching today I was relieved that Dean will finally (fingers crossed) get what’s coming to him, even if he’s actually innocent of this particular crime.”
“Good Dean at least charged with something he has done negligent of his daughter and theft/fraud, Keanu murder is an added bonus even if he didn’t do it. # EastEnders,” a fourth viewer tweeted, clearly chuffed that Dean’s getting his comeuppance. Another fan chimed in: “Dean is getting everything he deserves. Love to see it #EastEnders.”
And another added their two cents: “Deano being formally arrested [in part down to actual crimes of his too] #EastEnders.”
In tonight’s episode, the drama hit fever pitch as Dean was slapped with charges for Keanu’s demise – leaving The Six sweating bullets over whether he’d be banged up for good. With Jack breaking the news that Dean’s been charged and will cool his heels in remand until the court date, it begs the question: Is this curtains for The Six, or will there be more twists in the tale of Keanu Taylor’s murder?
