GENERAL HOSPITAL: Trina to Spencer, “Snap Out Out Of It! This Fantasy That You and Esme Have of Playing House is a Dream Come True For Her”
Is Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) that unaware of Esme’s (Avery Pohl) manipulation on General Hospital? Apparently so, after some answers he gave to his girlfriend, Trina (Tabyana Ali), who confronted her beau about his involvement with Esme, and helping raise his little brother, Ace.
On Thursday’s episode of General Hospital, Spencer visits Trina at the art gallery, and informs her that Nikolas is indeed alive … somewhere. Trina wants to know why Spencer doesn’t seem that rattled by the news and that his father is intentionally staying away from Port Charles. Spencer says he would prefer that Nikolas stay away and not return while things are going well with Esme and Ace.
Next Stay Spencer adds that Ace is better off without the cold and calculated Nikolas in his life. Then, Trina confronts Spencer about Esme. She concerned that the old Esme will resurface. However, Spencer shuts Trina down, saying Esme is being a good mother. Spencer explains that while he will never forgive her for her past transgressions (OY!) and what she did to Trina and everyone he cared about, he believes Esme is being sincere.

Just then, Trina puts a halt to his stance on Esme. She believes that Esme is clearly still in love with him and wants to build a family with him. Trina also reminds Spencer that he is not Ace’s father and that no matter how bad he thinks Nikolas is, he should be the man raising Ace.
When discussion turns towards their future, Spencer says Trina makes him as happy as Ace does. At that point, Trina lays into him! She believes he wants to be more than Ace’s father. Ultimately, she adds Esme has final say when it comes to Ace and Spencer won’t be able to do anything about it.

Trying to get him to open his eyes on the situation, Trina shouts, “Spencer! Snap out of it! This fantasy that you and Esme have of playing house is a dream come true for her!”
