General Hospital predictions suspect Spencer Cassadine may very well be baby Ace Cassadine’s father instead of his brother. And when Esme Prince gets her memories back, we may learn that she’s been lying to everyone on the ABC sudser.
Spencer Cassadine’s Strong Connection to Baby Ace on General Hospital
Currently, on GH, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is fully devoted to his baby brother, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) — almost a little too much. Of course, it’s understandable that Spencer wants to protect Ace.
He doesn’t want his little brother to experience the same loneliness and disappointment he did during his childhood. He believes that he needs to shield Ace from their father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
Although, Nik is still running from country to country, plotting on General Hospital. While it’s admirable for Spencer to step up the way he has for his brother, it’s causing problems.
In order for him to be a part of Ace’s daily life, he must co-parent with his ex-girlfriend Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Indeed, it’s putting a strain on his relationship with his girlfriend, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
No doubt, Trina has been more than understanding and patient. But from time to time, she needs to remind Spencer that little Ace isn’t his full-time responsibility because he is not his father. Or is he?
Evil Esme’s Last Scheme on GH
Before Esme was hit with amnesia on General Hospital, she was a horrible person — she was downright evil. Indeed, it makes total sense seeing as her parents are Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
Plus, she was following Ryan’s orders when she seduced Nikolas. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if she lied about Nik being her baby’s father. That way, she could split him and Ava Jerome (Maura West) up so she’d be free for Ryan.
Plus, she’d have access to the entire Cassadine fortune on General Hospital. Besides that, Esme was furious with Spencer because he was in love with Trina, and she wanted to punish him.
So, it’s more likely that she was already pregnant with Spencer’s baby when she slept with Nik. And her last devious move before she lost her memory was to lie to Spencer and then drop the bomb that Ace is his son.
General Hospital Predictions: Spencer Is the Father
Recently, on GH, there have been a few subtle hints suggesting Spencer could be Ace’s dad — not his brother. But the biggest one is that Trina continues to point out to Spencer that he and Ace are not father and son.
Of course, she wants him to have a big role in his life. But not so much that he has to spend all his time with Esme and not much time with her. Plus, she believes that Ace needs his real father around, and that’s Nik. Or so she thinks.
Chances are Spencer will turn out to be the daddy on General Hospital. Indeed, it will cause a lot of angst for him and Trina, and it may be a deal-breaker for her. Their relationship may not survive if it turns out he’s bonded to Esme forever.
