General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Tricks Tracy, Proves To Be A Real Quartermaine!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) found herself in a terrible situation just a few months ago. Blaming herself for the fact that her boyfriend, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) could be kicked off the police force for defending, Brook Lynn turned to her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) to intervene.
Tracy did what Brook Lynn asked and Chase returned to the force. Brook Lynn kept this quiet, so Tracy now had leverage over her granddaughter, which she had no problem capitalizing on!

Threatening to tell Chase the truth, Tracy insisted that Brook Lynn return to Deception and act as her spy. Brook Lynn did as she was told, but she hated hurting Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).
When Tracy demanded that Brook Lynn obtain every bit of information she could about Deception’s newest product, the Deceptor, Tracy used that information to file suit against Deception, claiming the idea for the Deceptor was stolen. In order to save Deception, Lucy agreed to give Tracy 51% of the company.

But the question remains, why was Tracy so interested in Deception in the first place. Brook Lynn’s mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) asked the same question to Tracy and was floored by what Tracy had to say. According to Tracy, she planned to give the company to Brook Lynn.
Although Tracy supported Brook Lynn’s romance with Chase, she didn’t want Brook Lynn to have to live on a cop’s salary so she did all of this to give Brook Lynn a means of supporting herself in the Quartermain lifestyle.

But Brook Lynn already has a career that she loves. She’s working as a music manager and already has her first client, Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). Look for Louis and Brook Lynn to come up with a scheme to put Tracy in her place.
Brook Lynn will likely accept Deception, only to give the shares back to Maxie and Lucy. This would go a long way to redeem herself to the duo who felt incredibly betrayed by Brook Lynn’s deception. But again, that might have been Tracy’s plan all along.
She may have wanted to give Brook Lynn a bit more of an edge and betraying her own grandmother is exactly the Quartermaine way!
