General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Gives Anna Support After Horrible Charlotte Incident
Teases about General Hospital updates and teasers Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will receive Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) assistance following the terrible Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) event. When Anna noticed Charlotte approaching her in the dark while wearing a black Halloween costume and brandishing a big flashlight, her WSB training kicked in, and she shot Charlotte in the stomach.
A Horrible Accident
Charlotte had broken away from her trick or treating group, having created a distraction to steal Anna’s keys to her new apartment earlier when she visited her father.
Charlotte already knew where Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) old apartment was, knowing Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) so finding the place was easy-she requested to trick or treat at Harbor Vista.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had taken Georgie, Charlotte, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Jake Webber (Hudson West) trick or treating and they were to stay together.
Charlotte had changed her costume to that of a tarot card hermit and entered Anna’s apartment, Jake following. Jake arrived just after Anna, not knowing it was Charlotte with an inoperable flashlight shot her.
Valentin Cassadine Horrified, Anna Devane Inconsolable
Anna held her composure until Jake called 911 after ripping off his lab coat Halloween costume to stop Charlotte’s bleeding. After Georgie and Danny showed up at the meeting place by themselves, Valentin began searching for Charlotte and Jake as well.
When Valentin arrives at GH, Elizabeth Baldwin, the head nurse, played by Rebecca Herbst, yells at him, demanding to know where her kid is!
After that, Jake is at the apartment chatting to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and when Anna is finally left alone, she is distraught because Charlotte is Valentin’s world!
Somehow news of the tragic accident gets back to Sonny, and he offers Anna his full emotional support-Anna did nothing wrong, it was a tragic misunderstood situation.
Sonny Corinthos Also Reinstates The Bodyguard
Sonny also reinstates the bodyguard, Anna realizing that even though Charlotte was terrorizing her, there’s still another threat-though she doesn’t tell him about Agent Forsyth (uncast).
For the time being, Anna intends to keep that private from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), despite her realization that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had used Charlotte as a weapon against her.
Anna is aware that there might be other threats; the weapon was linked to the WSB armory, therefore it’s possible that the unnamed Metro Court Sniper was Forsyth.
Anna finds it difficult to forgive herself for shooting Charlotte because she still remembers the panic she felt when Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) was abducted. Charlotte’s heart still bleeds for Charlotte and Valentin even if she is older than Robin was then!
