Over the years, spoilers for “General Hospital” (GH) have learned from soap operas that everyone gets away with murder, especially if they’re wealthy.
As for Nicholas Chavez’s character Spencer Cassadine, he’s more than wealthy. If he can get his hands on enough of the Cassadine fortune before Adam Huss’s character Nikolas Cassadine seizes control of it all, it will be sufficient to purchase a few countries.
Now that everyone is against him, particularly Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Laura Collins (Genia Francis), he can become increasingly obsessed with Ace and go to extreme lengths.
This is where things could get tricky, and we’re curious how much Spencer will channel Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to get his way.
Escalating things
Ace is prepared to lose everything since Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is about to move out and move into her own apartment, which will be at a location that Spencer owns all the time anyhow.
His fixation is getting out of control, and ‘General Hospital’ spoilers believe he may try a few different methods to obtain Ace.
The first is just taking him hostage. Spencer has the resources to locate the appropriate individuals; the only remaining questions are whether he can devise a workable plan and carry it through.
Chances are he can, but somewhere along the lines he’ll feel superior enough to brag or taunt her, and that will be the beginning of his undoing.
The next level
Possibly the easiest way for him to gain custody of his brother would be to have Esme killed.
This is a bit harsh and would shock everyone if he did it, but he does have the money, so he could hire someone to take her out for him.
He could then legally win custody of Ace since Nikolas isn’t around or he could take his brother and run off.
He’s got a fortune at his disposal, so he could hide anywhere just like his father and it could take years if ever to find him.
It would be an intriguing turn of events if Spencer fled in order to fulfill his obligations while Nikolas continues to elude them. Kind of.
Although Spencer hasn’t shown signs of following any of these paths yet, he is undoubtedly prepared to sacrifice everything to feed his addiction, considering how willing he was to set Trina aside for his brother.
