According to General Hospital spoilers, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) believes she never knew she was in love with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). It wasn’t until their current living arrangement that Esme realized she was starting to fall in love with Spencer again.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
Esme felt it was time for her to move out of Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) apartment with her newborn son Ace Cassadine, as she didn’t want to upset Spencer and his girlfriend Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Warning: Ace Cassadine’s father is not Spencer Cassadine from General Hospital.
When Spencer’s father Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was still wed to Ava Jerome (Maura West), he had an affair with Esme.
Ryan Chamberlain, who is also Jon Lindstrom, Esme’s father, had given her the order to woo Nikolas in order for Ryan to take Ava for himself.
Esme succeeded and soon revealed to Nikolas she was pregnant. Not wanting their affair exposed, Nikolas held Esme prisoner at Wyndemere. Esme eventually escaped but was injured in the process and apparently lost her memory.
Ace Cassadine was born!
Esme eventually moved in with Laura and Kevin after giving birth to Nikolas’ son. She even took a job working for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) at the Invader.
Things became even more crowded when Spencer also moved in. Even though he isn’t Ace’s father, Spencer still feels responsible for his younger brother.
Esme and Spencer agreed to help raise Ace together, even going as far as to take parenting classes together.
Even though Spencer is finally in a relationship with Trina, Esme has begun fall in love with Spencer all over again.
Spencer Cassadine lies to Esme Prince!
Esme has already informed Laura that she believes it’s best if she and Ace get an apartment of their own.
Laura consented, even offering to help her with the rent once she gave her justification for having her own apartment.
However, Spencer was incensed. Because of his own tumultuous relationship with their father, he feels accountable for Ace.
Additionally, Spencer lacks faith that Esme will not revert to her malicious ways after regaining her memory. Once Spencer realizes he can’t stop Esme, he will make a bad decision.
Watch for Spencer to ask an astonished Esme to marry him.
