‘Sister Wives’: Is Kody & Robyn’s Jaw-Dropping Gift for wives Part of Strategic Plan?

Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Robyn Brown look like they’re sitting on top of the world both on and off their TLC reality series. That is if you look at what they own in real estate.

Sister Wives' Kody Brown Living With Robyn, Not Visiting Other Wives

Christine Brown gifted her Coyote Pass land to Robyn and Kody for only $10. But records value it at $213,434. After all the third wife said about feeling slighted in her marriage, what would make her do something like this?

Sister Wives:  Kody Brown Along with Robyn Brown Get a Parting Gift?

Kody Brown’s relationship with Robyn Brown caused pain for Christine. This not only came as a surprise, but it shocked the fans as well. This generous parting gift came from a scorned wife. She gave it to the people she claims put her in that position.

So, it looks as if Christine holds no hard feelings, well on paper anyway. The Sister Wives fans heard what Christine said last season about being slighted in her marriage to Kody Brown.

Christine still sees Robyn Brown as the favorite wife when the new season kicks off next month. In the previews, she says enough about Robyn and her relationship with Kody to highlight her emotional pain. So, why in the height of all this would she hand over land worth more than $200k for $10?

Robyn & Kody on the Deed from Beginning

Kody Brown owns the most land when it comes to the five adults in this plural marriage. His name is on the deeds of the properties owned by his Sister Wives’ brides. That’s all except for Meri Brown’s Bed and Breakfast business, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn.

Robyn Brown’s name also shows up on the majority of the deeds as well. While on paper it looks as if Kody wins out along with Robyn but is this the real picture?

Coyote Pass land is split into six parcels on the land deeds. Each wife from Sister Wives has her name on one of those parcels of land. That is except for Robyn Brown. Her name shows up as co-owner on all of them except for the two where Janelle Brown’s name shows up.

Robyn owns quite a bit of the land along with Kody. Christine’s name was on her Coyote Pass land deed, along with her husband and Robyn’s name as co-owners.

The same holds for the deed with Meri Brown’s name on it. Both Kody and her co-wife, Robyn, are a trio of owners on that parcel as well.

The home that Robyn Brown occupies today with Robyn Brown is also owned by the two of them. So, on paper, it looks like if anything happened to Kody, Robyn sits pretty with real estate holdings.

But, what else might this tell you? The list below from the Coconino County Deeds shows the real estate holdings on Coyote Pass for the family in Flagstaff.

The deeds to the Coyote Pass parcels seem to tell a story. The Sister Wives show is big business for Kody and the family. To keep it going he needs his brides around him.

But it seems with Janelle Brown the only wife without her Coyote Pass property attached to Robyn, this could suggest some strategic planning.

Strategy When Dividing Coyote Pass?

Was Coyote Pass planned as the future home for only Kody, Robyn, and Janelle? If so, they couldn’t leave Meri and Christine off the deeds or that would throw major suspicion on the Sister Wives show.

There’s been a lot of talk about how Janelle plans to set up her greenhouses and do more than a little gardening on the land. She’s also the only wife who set up camp on the property in an RV. Then she showed up with Kody Brown to celebrate as the huge water tank when it arrived. She’s shown a lot of investment in this property so far.

But both Christine and Meri don’t seem to have that enthusiasm for their new homes. Or the new homes Sister Wives fans believe they plan on having one day on that land.

Sister Wives: Property Deeds

But as far as Meri and Christine, they never seemed that invested in the property. Maybe that’s because they were never planning to live there? Janelle shows up on Meri’s land deed, does that mean someday it will go to her?

Once the Sister Wives show comes to an end, it would be interesting to see what Coyote Pass ownership looks like then. So, one theory has this $10 property gift not a gift at all.

Christine’s name might show up on the deed for the sake of the show only. Her plans for Utah might have surfaced long before the fans were privy to this.
