Share Shocking : Kody Brown ‘regrets’ his relationship with Meri and claims she ‘cheated’ on him into marrying her

SISTER Wives star Kody Brown admitted he “regrets” his marriage to first wife Meri, as he claimed he was “deceived” into a relationship with her.
Kody, 51, and Meri, 49, traveled to Las Vegas to visit their therapist on Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives.
Meri revealed their relationship has been “pretty rocky for a while” and that they are “trying to be kind with each other.”
But Kody admitted that although they are family, they’re “not acting married.”
She said: “He doesn’t want to move forward with trying to work things out with me until things are in good standing with everyone else.”
Kody explained that while she has “great relationships everywhere she goes in business,” she “doesn’t have great relationships with the family.”
He continued: “How do I have a relationship with someone that after knowing for years, I don’t want a relationship with because of the hurt and struggle. I’m not blaming Meri. I’m saying we’re trying to heal a deep wound in a sick body. It’s a challenge.”
He then shockingly added: “Meri mourns the loss of what we had… I regret what we had.”
Meri said: “The relationship he and I had, it’s dead, it’s gone, it’s over. I want a relationship with him.”
He then slammed Meri for “going to victim mode” when he tries to have honest conversations.
He continued to fire: “I feel like I was deceived into a relationship that was very different than what I expected. Meri and I had a fast courtship with a lot of expectations and a lot of not communicating.
“I didn’t know who I was marrying. As things unfolded, I started to become troubled and bitter by the situation I was in.”
Despite the issues, Kody admitted he and Meri “aren’t interested in a breakup” because “why break something up if it’s fixable.”
Though Meri claimed she has a wall up, she still “feels hope,” while Kody found the session “productive.”
But it doesn’t appear Kody and Meri improved since the session.
Meri hasn’t posted photos alone with her husband since January 2019.
On Sunday, Meri posted on Instagram: “There’s more to life than being a passenger.”
She also posted: “Tell the story of the mountain you climbed. Your words could become a page in someone else’s survival guide.”
Kody and Meri married in 1990 and welcomed one daughter together, Mariah.
He went on to marry Janelle in 1993, Christine in 1994 and Robyn in 2014.
Kody divorced Meri, his only legal wife at the time, in 2014 to be able to adopt Robyn’s children from a previous marriage.
Then, Meri was involved in a catfish scandal where she fell in love with another man over the Internet who ended up being a woman.
On a recent episode, Meri was brought to tears when she found her marriage certificate.
When Robyn joked about “burning” theirs, Meri cried in her confessional: “It’s valid in my heart. That’s why I keep it.”
