The GH star had a fun surprise for fans of his Youtube podcast series.
They say you should never work with kids or animals but General Hospital star Maurice Benard decided to do both on his latest episode of State Of Mind, his Youtube video podcast series. In doing so, he warms your heart as he shows Christmas through the eyes of children — the girls who play his onscreen daughters as well as his own granddaughter.

It’s not a long episode but it’s packed with a lot of fun this week, when the show returned after a few weeks off. Benard welcomed Ava and Grace Scarola, who play his daughter Avery, their older sister Sophia, as well as Scarlett Spears, who plays Donna. His granddaughter Tiana (TT), who followers of the actor know well from her many social media appearances. Also, there was another special guest — Flower — a black and beige Pomeranian who tried to steal the show.
Benard hosted the young actresses and started things off by asking about what they wanted for Christmas and also their favorite gift they ever got. You’ll have to watch to see their answers, which we’re guessing many parents out there watching will be able to relate to. Along the way, there are many laughs, lots of love for Barbie, and some deep thoughts shared.
He also asked about their dreams for the future. Taylor Swift was certainly mentioned. You’ll learn a little bit about his wife Paula — find out what she is really good at cooking, a tidbit you may not have known about Benard’s father, and so much more. When he asks what makes them happy, it will make you smile. There are even more questions that bring out the girls’ sense of humor and their incredible hearts. It was a quick 24 minutes that you’re sure to enjoy.
