Doesn’t that seem like a plot point that could set the stage for some trouble?
After all, it’d be easy for Ava to live at the Metro Court with round-the-clock guards posted at her door instead.
Sonny opened his home to Ava, so could there be a deeper reason than just protecting her?
Sonny pointed out that Avery would like this arrangement, but there could be more to it than that.
GH writers might be building to some hot temptation that perhaps catches Sonny and Ava by surprise.
Even if Ava admits she knew Nina’s SEC secret and about Michael blackmailing her, Sonny may not blame her for keeping quiet.
It wasn’t Ava’s job to rat out her close friend.
Nina was the one who took vows and made Sonny believe they had a marriage built on honest communication. As a result, Sonny may not hold Ava’s silence against her if he finds out.
It’s clear that Sonny and Ava have come a long way from the days when he hated her guts.
Ava and Sonny are almost friendly now, so maybe they could keep that momentum going and take things into steamier territory.
Sonny and Ava have obviously surrendered to temptation before since Avery exists. There’s a chance Ava and Sonny could surrender once again, so will they hook up while he’s on the outs with Nina?
Once Sonny gets updates on all the details of Nina’s deception, it’s possible he’ll head to bed with Ava and seek some comfort.
That could give Ava and Sonny a complicated new secret of their own!
