Sister Wives star Meri Brown has a history with her co-wives that seemed like a puzzle until now. A recent event put the pieces of that puzzle together for many of the show’s fans. But the result doesn’t paint Meri against a bright background. Instead, she surfaces in a darker place for some fans.
Meri Brown Gathers Her Sister Wives Family
Meri Brown had a hand in choosing Kody Brown’s other three wives. When Sister Wives first aired over a decade ago, fans watched as Robyn Brown entered the family.
Since that time fans learned just how much the family’s first wife was responsible for her husband’s fourth wife. Robyn was kept as a secret for a while from Janelle Brown and Christine Brown.
Back then fans saw the three original wives living in harmony. But that wasn’t the case. Both Janelle and Christine were at odds with Meri over many things in this plural marriage.
This picture formed for the Sister Wives fans in bits and pieces over the years. When the three wives lived together under one roof, it sounded as if Kody’s first wife was the woman who ran things.
Christine and Janelle had only one way to get to each other’s apartments inside that house. That was going through Meri Brown’s section of the home. But she put a stop to that. So, even in the most inclement weather, they had to go outside to get to the other side of the house.
Over a Decade without Intimacy for Meri
At the end of last season, fans became shocked over something Meri revealed. She hadn’t been intimate with Kody for over a decade. Besides leaving fans stunned, fans used this as another piece of the puzzle.
Today fans believe Robyn Brown was this first wife’s way of jabbing the other two wives. Meri admits that back then, she became jealous of Christine. While Janelle was more like a buddy to Kody, Christine was all about romance.
Meri Brown pushed Kody to court Robyn. Then she made it well known to Janelle as well as Christine that she wanted Robyn as wife number four. So today many fans think the first wife’s agenda included diverting Kody’s attention from Christine.
Some Sister Wives followers think this was a jab at Christine. Meri admitted Christine’s relationship with their husband made her jealous. So, it could be that Robyn was one way to put a stop to this. But it backfired as Meri Brown soon joined her other wives in their jealousy towards this younger wife.
Sister Wives: Still at it Today?
Meri Brown started her own little YouTube show Fridays with Friends. Every Friday evening, she and her BFF Jenn Sullivan chat about a variety of topics. So, this Sister Wives bride has got quite the fan base that tunes in to see this.
Recently, TLC gave Christine Brown her digital show, Cooking with Just Christine. Last week fans caught Meri sending major diss Christine’s way on her recent Fridays with Friends episode. This was a blatant swipe at Christine Brown, The Sun suggests.
Meri started by saying: “We know you want the cooking show with Just Jen.” This seemed to take a poke at the title of Christine’s show. Between the giggling, this Sister Wives celebrity said things like you know they’ve “been cooking here a long time.”
Sister Wives followers saw it as jealousy and were not happy with her sarcasm towards Christine. Meri Brown talked about cooking on Instagram a while back. Plus, Jenn goes by the name Just Jenn. So, some fans thought she was implying that Christine stole the idea from her.
To the folks watching the mom of one, it was very plain to them what she was doing. That was making fun of Christine and her new cooking show, according to the comments. Plus suggesting it was her idea that her ex-co-wife swiped.
So, the pieces of that Sister Wives puzzle fell into place for fans. Today it looks like Christine had more than problems with Kody to deal with. Fans see Meri as having a deep-rooted problem with Christine that’s been around for decades.
