General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Picks Sonny’s Romantic Partner – Will He Support Carly or Nina Reunion?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return is in the works, so his comeback will bring some interesting changes to the canvas. Once Jason reunites with all the people he loves, he’ll be able to weigh in on some of the GH romantic shakeups that have happened in his absence.

Sonny got married to Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) after Jason’s presumed demise, but that marriage is already on the rocks due to Nina being the SEC rat and all the lies that came afterward.

Carly also got together with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who’s starting to set off some alarm bells when it comes to the changes in his behavior since Pentonville.

Drew and Carly’s relationship could be important once Jason returns, especially if Jason grows protective of Carly and wants to reignite his own romance with her.

Of course, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is perfectly happy with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), so that news could be another factor in Jason’s storyline and romantic future.

If Sam sticks with Dante – at least for a while – and eliminates that option, will Jason and Carly try being a couple again?

That might depend on Jason’s feelings about Sonny’s romantic future and who he truly belongs with.

It’s possible Jason will support Sonny and Carly’s reunion – especially after all the damage Nina’s done.

With Drew showing off his dangerous side it a bit more, Jason might take this opportunity to push Carly and Sonny back toward each other his own subtle way.

Although Jason isn’t the type to play matchmaker, he could at least confess that he thinks Sonny and Carly belong together forever.

Then again, Jason might see that Carly and Sonny are both in different places now. Perhaps Jason could get on board with Sonny’s reunion with Nina since she makes him happy.

That doesn’t mean Jason has to like Nina or approve of the things she’s done to Carly.

It just means Jason could acknowledge the new love Sonny found with Nina and accept that maybe he should stick with his new wife.

It would make things less complicated for Jason if he decides to win Carly’s heart back, so that could play a role in what he decides Sonny’s next romantic chapter should look like.
