General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that with a new writing regime on the way, viewers should brace for some big shakeups. Some new storylines are brewing, so let’s talk about one that plenty of GH fans would like to see.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been unlucky in love for years and can never seem to find a romance that’s meant to last.
Most recently, Ava was paired up with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), but now she feels like they were a toxic duo from the start.
Nikolas and Ava were perhaps always meant to fail in Ava’s eyes, but she has a chance to start over with someone else – especially now that they’ve had some scenes that can serve as “Nava” closure.
Of course, Ava has had some other pairings that flopped or just didn’t work for one reason or another.
Although Ava is a strong woman who doesn’t need a man to live her best life, it’d still be fun to see her finally meet her perfect match.
There honestly aren’t a lot of decent options on canvas for Ava at the moment – at least not options that would probably lead to lasting love.
Should the show eventually just cast a hunky actor with Ava in mind? Maybe they need to put a little more effort into giving Ava a solid pairing.
There’s surely some good-looking guy with great acting skills who could pass the chemistry test with Ava.
The show could trim the cast a bit more and make room for Ava’s new beau if need be.
Will 2024 be the year that Ava finds true love? Time will tell, but anything can happen when a writing transition takes place.
The show will inevitably have an “out with the old and in with the new” mentality in many ways, so this could be Ava’s best opportunity to find new love and maybe even wedded bliss down the road.
Maura West is a popular performer, so her character deserves a memorable love story that fans can get behind.
