Update Shocking : Sister Wives’ Meri Brown’s boyfriend Amos Andrews was over $20k in debt before dating star, fourth divorce case reveals
SISTER Wives star Meri Brown’s boyfriend Amos Andrews was over $20k in debt two years before being brought into the spotlight.
Meri, 53, debuted her new boyfriend, Amos Andrews, on social media on January 16 following her split from ex Kody Brown.
Starnews99 confirmed by court documents that the Salt Lake City-based man was married four times before he started dating the Sister Wives star in October 2023.
His most recent marriage was to a woman named Jennifer Andrews.
They got married on September 7, 2016 in Arizona, and then she filed for divorce on March 18, 2021 in Utah.
Jennifer filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences, claiming they “experienced difficulties that cannot be reconciled and that have prevented the parties from pursuing a viable marital relationship.”
The quick divorce – presumably because they did not have kids together – was finalized on April 28, 2021.
In the Findings of Facts document, obtained by The U.S. Sun, their personal property was divided equitably between the parties.
Jennifer was awarded their 2020 GMC Terrain, while Amos, 55, was awarded their 1996 Ford Expedition and 2019 Cadillac XTS.
Neither party was awarded alimony and they each were responsible for their own attorney’s fees.
For each of their debts, they were ordered to pay all debts in his or her name. While her debts totaled $15,380, his debts totaled $17,372.
This included: Chase credit card $2,583; Caesars Reward credit card $3,657; Discover credit card $1,677; Paypal credit card $1,317; Paypal credit $614; RC Wiley account $780; HSBC credit card $2,290; Merrick Bank credit card $900; Credit One credit card $1,337; and Integra credit loan $2,217.
In addition, their joint debt was divided and Jennifer was responsible for $5,462.50, while Amos was responsible for $3,470.50.
This brings his personal debt and the joint debt to a total of $20,842.50.
SETTLEMENT
The Findings of Fact document, that was filed the same day as the judgment on April 28, 2021, included information about Amos having a personal injury settlement.
At the time, he was due to receive the settlement in the near future.
It is not known what the specific injury is related to or how much he was owed, but he was ordered to pay Jennifer 50 percent of the total funds he received.
The judge, per the court doc, also placed restraining orders on both parties, demanding that they do not attempt, threaten or commit domestic violence against each other.
This includes stalking, harassing, or physically harming each other. They must keep communication between each other civil.
They also are not allowed to enter the other party’s place of residence without written permission and shall not access each other’s electronic accounts.

FIFTH TIME’S THE CHARM?
Apart from Amos’ marriage to Jennifer, he was married three other times.
It appears Meri, however, is only aware of three marriages since he said he has three ex-wives in recent Instagram live.
His first marriage was to Tracy Smith Lang. It’s unclear when they got married, but their divorce was finalized in 1994 when the decree was entered.
The couple had two children together: a son named Cody, who is now 36, and a daughter named Kristina, now 35.
Amos’ second marriage was to Shannon Marie Martin and they had a daughter together: Tiffany, who is now 26 years old.
They got married in Las Vegas on February 18, 1995 (when he was 26 and she was 18), and Shannon filed for divorce in August 2000.
The couple has been embroiled in a nasty child support battle for years following their divorce finalization.
Starnews99 reported Amos was accused of refusing to pay child support for seven years and not paying child expenses for 12 years.
His third marriage was to a woman named Christine Andrews.
Christine and Amos got married in March 2002 in Arizona and his ex filed for divorce in June 2004, stating their marriage was irretrievably broken and there was no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.
AMOS’ PAST
One of Amos’ four ex-wives recently spoke to Starnews99 about his alleged “controlling” behavior and “obsession” with reality stars.
The ex claimed, “He knows Meri. He watched the show when we lived in Las Vegas.
“He wanted to find where she lives, so he knows who she is.”
The TV star and her now ex-sister wives- Robyn, Janelle, Christine – and ex, Kody, used to live in Las Vegas prior to 2019.
The ex went on to allege that he’s an “opportunistic” and could be “looking for someone for a payday.”
She is unaware of his current job, but said that he had “many jobs” during the course of their marriage.
Meanwhile, Meri, who has a contract with Sister Wives and owns a bed and breakfast, is estimated to be worth $400K, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
The anonymous woman also claimed that he’s “narcissistic” and she said that she was “shocked” that he “went after” someone with the level of fame that Meri has due to his personality.
“I think he likes to stay low key,” Amos’ ex said.
So far, fans have only gotten a glimpse into their relationship during Meri’s Friday with Friends segment, where he confessed to filing for bankruptcy “25 years ago.”
