Sister Wives star Christine Brown came into the limelight when she gathered the courage to leave her husband, Kody, after decades of togetherness. Recently, Christine announced a giveaway of products from a China-based company name Temu! She gushed over the venture in her caption and was giving away several “summer outfits.” TV Season & Spoilers can confirm that viewers didn’t like this idea at all! Several fans took to the comment section and slammed her for promoting a controversial company. A user pointed out how Temu practices “slave child labor” while their products are also of “cheap quality.” Another person noted that this venture usually steals designs from “American designers.” Someone even asked Christine first to do a quick research about Temo. The majority of the fans were sure that after knowing the truth, she would never want to promote it!

Temu is a marketplace that connects buyers directly to suppliers reducing the cost of the products. It is a China-based venture and has gained a lot of popularity in recent times. However, it is a known fact that it has been surrounded by numerous allegations and accusations lately. As per the reports, Temu was charged with labor rights abuses and potential data risks. Intially, it became one of the most downloaded apps in America. But within no time, several issues and complaints sprang up regarding the same. Christine Brown from Sister Wives also fell prey to it after promoting it.

Several reports have claimed that Temu might be stealing data from their users’ devices. Recently, Google decided to suspend its sister site e-commerce platform named, Pinduoduo. Many sources proved that it contained malware. Moreover, numerous fans stated in Christine’s comment that Temu’s products are made in China’s western province of Xinjiang, where it allegedly forces residents to work without wages. That was the main reason why fans couldn’t control their calm when they saw Christine doing a giveaway of this controversial venture.
