GH Spoilers Thursday, February 8: Emergency Assists, Worrisome Conversations, Family Concerns
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, February 8 tease emergency assists, worrisome conversations, and family concerns.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gives an emergency assist, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has a worrisome conversation and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has family concerns.
At the Metro Court restaurant, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gets an assist from Brook Lynn. As they sit together at a table, Brook Lynn is fully of positivity as she tells her “let’s do this!”
Carly has taken on the role of editor in chief of Crimson Magazine, which is all about fashion, without really knowing much about the subject.
Brook Lynn is the perfect assistant since she knows what her grandmother Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) expectations would be.
They just struck an advertising deal between Crimson and Deception Cosmetics and Brook Lynn wants to make it successful.
GH Spoilers – Worrisome Conversations
Elsewhere, Willow has a worrisome conversation with Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) as she can obviously tell he’s not being himself.
He looks downright wild eyed as he tells her that is never going to happen again, and Willow looks very concerned at his demeanor.
She had just talked to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about a conversation he’d had with Drew where Drew wanted help getting back at Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Michael had declined, wanting the family to heal, including his father who he plans to try to make amends with.
Drew’s vendetta over Nina seems even worse than the one Michael had over Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)!
General Hospital Spoilers – Suspicious Questions
Meanwhile, at the PCPD, Special Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) talks to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and new Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
He has some very suspicious questions, given Anna took away his excuse for not sharing information with civilians-she could deputize Jordan too. He asks what information she went to jail for in order to hide it from him!
That attitude is going to get him exactly nowhere with anyone at the PCPD. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) already told him to drop the charges against Anna and Jordan-he did, but now he gives attitude?
Chase and big brother Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) are talking over the situations with their father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) after there was an incident at the cemetery.
Finn tried to force him to go to the hospital when he clutched his chest and struggled to breathe, and he wasn’t happy upon realizing he’d been hiding symptoms from him.
Finn thinks it’s time for Dad to stop living on his own, but Chase has concerns. Most likely he agrees, but how are they going to get their stubborn father to agree to it?
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Has A Favor To Ask
Elsewhere at the Metro Court restaurant, Nina has a favor to ask from Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight). It sounds like one heck of a big favor as well as an ambitious plan as he asks her how exactly she proposes to do that?
One thought might be that she’s asking about suing Drew for wrongful termination-she may have a case.
If New York is a state where there has to be a performance related issue or issues to fire someone legally, personal vendettas don’t count! But if it’s a no-fault state, employers can fire people at will with no good reason.
GH Spoilers – Humble Appeals
It looks like Michael is at Sonny’s office at Pozzulo’s as he tells his father he hopes that he can forgive him.
That should be music to Sonny’s ears, and you can tell by the look on his face Michael has his attention. Michael and Sonny have been on the outs for a very long time, and Michael has finally come to the point where he can let his anger go.
Sonny needs all the family support he can get, but will he confide the danger he’s in to Michael?
General Hospital Spoilers – Well, That Went Over Well—
Back at the PCPD, Cates can see that went over well when he showed his bad attitude to Anna and Jordan. Anna yells from her new office as the Port Charles Police Commissioner to get the hell out of her way!
She’s taken away his excuses to not share information at least with her, and if he won’t cooperate now she can go over his head.
This case affects Anna and her friends in Port Charles directly, all those who have been shot at by those stolen guns. Apparently it goes farther than dirty former WSB head John Brennan (Charles Mesure)!
