Bobby Brazier clears up Celebrity Big Brother rumours as Jack Tweedy issues warning

Bobby Brazier has put rumours of a Celebrity Big Brother appearance to rest, after his former step-father, Jack Tweed, issued a warning for him not to go on the show.

During his appearance at the TV Choice Awards in London on Monday, 12 February, Bobby, 20, confirmed that he would be back filming on EastEnders on Monday, 19 February, with him resuming the role of Freddie Slater.

He was delighted to be reunited with his soap co-stars at the event, saying: “I’m happy to be back with my EastEnders lot. I’ve missed them so much.” When asked if he knew what was in store for Freddie upon his return, Bobby admitted: “I’ve got no idea – and if I did, I wouldn’t even tell you!”

Celebrity Big Brother has been confirmed to kick off on Monday, 4 March, meaning that Bobby will not be starring, due to his filming schedule with BBC’s EastEnders.

Recently, Jack Tweed, 36, who was married to Bobby’s late mum, Jade Goody, for one month prior to her death from cancer in 2009, publicly warned Bobby and his younger brother Bobby, 19, to avoid the ITV show.

He, himself, along with Jade, went on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007, when it aired on Channel 4, but it ended in disaster when Jade was embroiled in a race row scandal with Indian actress, Shilpa Shetty.

Speaking to MailOnline, Jack issued some words of wisdom to his former stepsons, Bobby and Freddie about Celebrity Big Brother, saying: “My advice would be to stay well clear. It is not worth it. Me and Jade did not have a great experience. It ended in disaster.

“I did not feel comfortable in that experience at all. You feel very exposed. It’s constant. It feels enclosed. We met a few nice people but I would not recommend it.

“It caused a lot of problems. If they asked me what I think having been on it myself I would say avoid it. It was constant boredom. I’d wake up and have a shower and then wonder what to do next. It was soul-destroying at times. It was tough.”

Meanwhile, Bobby recently hinted that there is indeed a romance between him and his former Strictly Come Dancing co-star, Ellie Leach. Rumours of a romance between Bobby and Strictly winner Ellie have been swirling in recent months, after they were seen looking cosy in a number of snaps posted to Instagram during their nationwide Strictly tour.

Speaking to OK! about the Strictly tour that recently finished, Bobby described the experience as a “good time”. He also said it “felt like one big party and we got to become better friends with certain people than we did on the series”.

When asked if there was anyone on the Strictly tour that he “bonded with in particular”, Bobby couldn’t help but smile, as he said: “Yeah, yeah. Ellie… I made good friends with Ellie,” before mentioning Kai Widdrington
