Ex-General Hospital Star Haley Pullos Attempting To Strike A Deal In Drunk Driving Case

Haley Pullos (ex-Molly Lansing-Davis, General Hospital), who was charged with two felony DUIs and a misdemeanor hit-and-run stemming from an incident in which she allegedly sideswiped a parked car then drove the wrong way on a Los Angeles freeway while under the influence and smashed into another motorist, is presently attempting to negotiate a deal with prosecutors.

Haley Pullos Hoping For Lighter Sentence

Pullos was facing up to three years in prison and originally pled not guilty. Per the Daily Mail, the embattled actress is now looking to change her plea in the hopes of snagging a lower sentence resulting in little to no jail time, a suspended sentence, and/or house arrest.

At a hearing this past Wednesday, Pasadena-based Judge Terry Smerling was informed that the LA District Attorney and Pullos’s attorneys have been working on a ‘potential settlement’.

Judge Smerling set another hearing for April 8th, which he insisted “should be the final.”

Deputy District Attorney Melany Avanessians reportedly told Judge Smerling that if no plea agreement is in place by April 8th, “We will send her to a preliminary hearing,” meaning that Pullos’s case will be proceeding to trial.

Twenty-three-year-old Courtney Wilder, the driver of the car that Pullos plowed into last April, is personally suing Pullos in civil court, seeking damages for negligence.

According to police, Pullos drove her white 2019 Ford Fusion westbound onto the eastbound 134 Freeway and smashed into Wilder’s Kia which was traveling east at 60mph.

Responders allegedly found several mini bottles of tequila and edible marijuana wrappers inside Pullos’ vehicle, and reports from the scene claimed that Pullos smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, and glassy eyes.

In a deposition supplied to the courts, Wilder wrote: “Haley Pullos acted maliciously and without any regard for the safety of others, as evidenced by her rage when she was pulled from her vehicle by first responders.

“She acted maliciously by attacking the officers and yelling profanities in front of witnesses and directed toward those who were trying to help her.

“In her fit of rage, Haley Pullos battered a firefighter and yelled at him to take his hands off her ‘$400 f—ing shirt.’

“Despite having just caused two accidents, one of which resulted in serious, life-threatening injuries, she cared more about her overpriced clothing than she did the safety and all-being of the victim of her reckless, intentional, and despicable conduct.

‘As more evidence of her abhorrent behavior, Haley Pullos continued to fight medical staff and was forced to be sedated.

‘Not only was she driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, but she was drinking behind the wheel, as evidenced by the edible wrappers and empty alcohol bottles which were found in her vehicle.”

In the months since the incident, Wilder has added Pasadena’s No Comment Lounge — Pullo’s employer at the time of the incident — as a defendant in this civil lawsuit claiming that they plied her with drink then let her drive herself home. In addition, Wilder is suing the State of California Transportation Department.

Pullos did not appear in court on Wednesday, nor has she provided a statement at the time of publication.
