He passed away at age 25 from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, Flagstaff Police Department confirmed to The U.S. Sun.

Garrison’s parents took to social media after the news broke to personally announce the sad news.

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” Janelle, 54, and Kody, 55, wrote alongside two photos of Garrison.

“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.”

They concluded their short posts, “We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

Despite the shocking death having just occurred, a source exclusively revealed to The U.S. Sun that TLC cameras will be filming the aftermath of the National Guard vet’s suicide.

“The family is normally always filming – whether it’s actual cameras or on their phones,” a source shared, referring to Kody, Janelle, Robyn, Christine and Meri.

“As sad as it is, his unexpected death came during the timeline of filming.”

Since Garrison appeared on the show – his strained relationship with Kody was well documented last season – and people loved him, the source claims, “TLC is going to want to continue the storyline and fans are going to expect to know what happened to him.”

The source continued: “I can’t imagine any of this won’t be filmed.

“I just don’t how far this will go and how deep the family will get.”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to TLC for comment.

‘BEAUTIFUL CELEBRATION’

Funeral plans and arrangements have yet to be announced.

However, the source said that the Browns “don’t lay people to rest quietly. It’s always a big beautiful celebration nine times out of 10.”

“There will definitely be something,” the family source shared.

“I just really hope they all come together and do it well.”

The source went on to share how Garrison will be remembered.

“He was a great kid. He was a super cool, nice, really sweet guy.

“When I got to know him and we got to know each other and hung out, we always had fun.

“He was a great human and he was really proud of himself and his accomplishments.”

The source continued, “Apart from him being devastated by what his dad’s choices were and hating Robyn, he truly loved his family.”

ON HIS OWN

By 2022, Garrison had bought his own home and moved away from his family’s house in Arizona, following his feud with Kody.

In October 2023, Janelle’s son fled the country and took a trip to Barcelona, Spain, to spend time with friends.

He posted a series of photos from his trip on Instagram at the time, sharing highlights of the tourist attractions he visited.

He returned to Instagram in February and posted five days prior to his death to share his “newest edition” to his home – a new cat named Ms. Buttons.

“She’s 9 years old and was on the line for euthanasia but my savior complex couldn’t suffice,” he captioned a photo of himself with his new grey furry friend.

ESTRANGEMENT FROM KODY

A source revealed to The U.S. Sun that Garrison was “still estranged” from his father prior to his death.

It was known to Sister Wives fans that Garrison and Kody had a tumultuous relationship for years.

“Sadly, they never made up before Garrison died,” a source told The U.S. Sun.

“I don’t think they had even spoken since Covid times.”

The family source claimed: “I know for a fact there was no buddy/buddy hangout or friendship.

“Honestly, I can’t even remember the last time they saw each other.

“From what I know, the last time they really had an interaction was when they met up and had a big argument on camera.”

Although there have not been any official announcements made by TLC about season 19, Christine seemingly confirmed that the show would return for another season.
